Deep in every woman's heart is a longing to truly know God, to walk with Him and find purpose and meaning in ordinary moments and through myriads of daily duties.

Do you desire a closer walk, purpose, and the garment of praise for your days? Give the first time—your early morning time—to God. It is a wonderful way to start the day—a day spent with and for God. There is nothing like Bible reading and prayer to begin the day.

Bible reading, though, is not a magic formula. We need God's Spirit to guide and teach us. We need a heart that truly desires to obey and do the will of our Father.

Be encouraged to seek God in solitude. In this day and age of noise and clamor we must find a daily place of quietness before God if we are to keep our souls focused on Him.
