Suppose for a moment that you never heard of Halloween and that you've never seen haunted houses, decorated houses, trick-or-treaters, or store catering to this seasonal event. What would go through your mind if you'd begin to walk around your community and see houses decorated with glowing Jack-o-lanterns, spider webs, and ghosts? Other places you would see headstones, skeletons, witches, and children dressed in ugly costumes, some with hideously marred faces, and some depicting various devils and demons.
